DIGITAL PRESERVATION
Archiving & Digital Preservation
Continuity, discoverability and preservation principles for the scholarly record.
Preserving the scholarly record
IJIRTI aims to maintain persistent online access to published article metadata and files through its journal platform and planned repository/discovery workflows. Preservation arrangements may evolve as additional repository and harvesting infrastructure is deployed.
Preservation workflow
1Final recordPublication metadata verified
2Article fileVersion of Record retained
3Persistent identifierDOI route where assigned
4RepositoryZenodo workflow where deployed
5Discovery metadataOJS/OAI-PMH and external services
6Correction linkageUpdates remain connected to the record
Post-publication changes
Corrections, retractions or other editorial notices should remain linked to the affected publication so readers can understand the status of the scholarly record. A published DOI should not be silently recycled for unrelated content.
